Parent Teachers Association

Who we are and what we do?

The Keston Parents Teachers Association (PTA) is a registered charity which organise a variety of fundraising events for our school community to enjoy. This in turn raises vital funds for school resources and developments.

We are a friendly committee made up of parents, teacher reps and the Headteacher. We have a yearly AGM and then meet on an ad hoc basis to plan lots of different types of events throughout the year.

Our main purpose is to have fun and raise money to support the school whilst bringing the Keston community together.

Fund Raising

Over the years, the PTA have helped to raise many thousands of pounds for the school. This could not have been achieved without both the tireless work of the PTA and of course help and contributions from parents and carers of the children.

The PTA do all sorts of events from small doughnut and ice cream sales right through to the superb Summer fayre. There is also an ongoing second hand uniform sale where you can purchase logo ’ed tops as well as trousers, skirts and dresses. Please complete a uniform order form here and email it to

So what does the school spend the money that is raised on? Recently the money has gone towards:

  • New Interactive Whiteboards for our music room and some classrooms
  • Reading Scheme books to support our phonics teaching
  • Equipment, including a mark making and maths shed for our Nursery outside area
