Consultation on Admission Arrangements for September 2027
In line with the requirements of the School Admissions Code 2021, Keston Primary School is conducting a consultation on its determined admission arrangements for entry in September 2027.
Why We Are Consulting:
Although no changes are proposed to our current admissions policy, we are required to consult at least once every seven years. This consultation ensures transparency and gives stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback.
Consultation Period:
The consultation will run for six weeks, from Friday 24th October until Friday 5th December 2025.
Who Can Respond:
We welcome feedback from:
- Parents and carers
- Local schools and academies
- The local authority
- Community and faith groups
- Any other interested parties

All responses will be considered before the arrangements are formally determined by 28 February 2026. Final arrangements will be published on our website by no later than 15 March 2026.

Reception September 2026
We are delighted to be able to once again offer school and nursery tours for prospective September 2025 Reception parents. We will be holding 'Open Mornings' , giving you the opportunity to see our school in action and hear about the experiences and opportunities we provide for the children, here at Keston Primary.
We are able to offer open mornings from 9.30am, and dates are as follows:
- Thursday 9th October - Fully Booked
- Wednesday 12th November - Fully Booked
- Tuesday 25th November - Fully Booked
- Thursday 4th December - Fully Booked
- Thursday 8th January
Nursery September 2026
We are delighted to be able to once again offer school and nursery tours for prospective September 2025 Nursery parents. Admission to Keston Primary School
The children enter the school full time during the autumn term of the academic year in which they will be five years old.
All applications for the school are processed through the Local Authority(LA) and not directly with the school.

Admission to Keston Nursery
To be considered for a place, parents should apply using the form on the link below ; places cannot be guaranteed and will allocated in line with the school's Admission Policy.
Entry to the nursery does not guarantee a place at Keston Primary School

30 hours funded Nursery places for working parents
Eligible working parents are entitled to 30 hours free Nursery care. Keston Nursery is registered for this scheme. If we are able to offer your Nursery age child a 30 hour place it would be for 6 hours per day during term time.

In Year Admissions
Occasionally spaces are available in year groups other than Reception. Please contact the office to enquire about available places.

Appeals Timetable in accordance with the School Admissions Appeal Code 2012
Community Primary admission appeals to be heard between 5 June 2021 and 21 July 2023
a) Deadline for Lodging Appeals: 16 May 2023. Appeal forms received within the deadline will be heard between 5 June and 21 July 2023, although some appeals may be heard following this date, as required.
b) Appellants will receive at least 14 calendar days’ notice of their appeal hearing date.
c) Appellants must submit their additional evidence and the admission authority to submit their evidence at least 14 calendar days prior to the hearing date.
d) Decision letters will be sent to appellants within 7 calendar days of the hearing, or, where multiple appeals for a school are heard on more than one day within 7 calendar days of the last hearing day for that school.
